- Google Account Data: If you connect a Google account, we access your Google profile information (for sign-in) and, where you authorize it, your Google Calendar and Gmail data — used to sync bookings to your calendar and to power our AI-assisted email reply feature. - Interaction Data: Your prompts, uploaded files, and feedback to generate responses and improve the system
- Device Data: IP addresses, browser types, device information, and usage patterns for security and performance monitoring
- Activity Data: Information about how you use our service, including pages viewed and features accessed
- Technical Information: Connection details and system information for troubleshooting
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our service
- Process your bookings and payments
- Send you service-related emails
- Prevent fraud and ensure security
- Comply with legal obligations
- Analyze trends and improve user experience
4. AI-Assisted Features
Some features, such as drafting email replies to guests, are powered by AI (currently Google's Gemini API), used only to generate the requested response.
Human Oversight: Chronatica staff — not third parties — may review a subset of interactions internally for quality assurance and to improve our services.
5. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We share, transfer, or disclose your information with the following categories of third parties, for the purposes stated. We do not sell your personal information.
- Google: Your profile information for sign-in and authentication; and, if you connect Google Calendar or Gmail, your calendar and email data — to sync bookings to your calendar and, for our AI email-reply assistant, to generate response drafts via Google's Gemini API
- Stripe: Booking and payment details, to process payments and payouts through Stripe Connect
- Email service providers: Your email address and message content, to send transactional emails (login links, booking confirmations, reminders)
- Legal and regulatory authorities: When required to comply with law or legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public
- A successor entity: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy's commitments
We do not control these third-party services independently of the above, and their own data practices are governed by their respective policies.
Google API Limited Use Disclosure: Chronatica's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs, including Gmail and Google Calendar, will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption for sensitive information and secure payment processing. However, please be aware that no internet transmission is entirely secure.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account, booking, and Google-sourced data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the associated feature, and delete or disconnect Google data promptly if you revoke access to your Google account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at help@chronatica.com.
When you request deletion, we will remove your account and associated data from our active systems.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to certain types of data processing
- Export your personal data
